I purchased the domain name for this site around the time that the first 3D HDTVs were coming out. At the time I was considering building a home theater PC (HTPC) capable of playing both 3D games and 3D Blu-ray movies. Since I was going to build a 3D capable HTPC I thought I would go ahead and buy the domain name www.3DHTPC.com since it was available. Before I got around to building a 3D HTPC I found a small form factor 3D HTPC manufactured by ASRock, named the Vision 3D HTPC, which was as good if not better than anything I could build for the same price, at least as long as I were to enclose it in such a small case. Shortly afterwards, I built the site to feature the Vision 3D HTPC. If I find more time I will add more computers and I hope to fill the forums with meaningful posts and also fill the gallery full of pictures of custom-built 3D computers.
