About Me

Welcome to my website! I currently live in, and am from Tallahassee, Florida. I graduated from Florida State University with a bachelor's degree in Information Studies in 2002. While attending school at FSU I got a part-time job as an assistant Network Administrator and continued working there for the next seven years until eventually taking over my boss' position as Systems Administrator when he retired.

I am an IT enthusiast and love to stay up-to-date on the latest technologies. Whether I'm building a new computer, designing a website, removing a virus from a computer or simply buying new electronic components, I like to know what technologies are available to me and which features and options will help me get the best results for my specific needs depending on the time and money spent.

I also enjoy traveling, hanging out with friends and family, watching movies and sporting events as well as shooting pool, bowling and playing video games when I'm not working on other various projects.

My Schooling primarily consisted of Leon High School, of which I graduated from in 1994. I then attended Tallahassee Community College (TCC) at which I originally pursued an education and degree in business; however, towards the end of the time I spent at TCC I took a couple classes in computers (a Networking Class in which I learned the basic fundamentals and principles of networking, and a Cabling Class in which I learned how to construct network cables including twisted pair and coax as well as how to test for shorts and improper wiring) which were a couple of the last classes I took at Tallahassee Community College. I then graduated from TCC with my Associates in Arts degree and moved on to Florida State University (FSU). When I first started at Florida State I continued on down the business path but soon realized that business was not for me. I already had a good working knowledge of computers and really enjoyed the networking classes I took at TCC so I decided to take more computer and networking classes at FSU and in July of 2002 I graduated from Florida State University with my Bachelors of Science in Information Studies. I then started my professional career working at Florida State University where I had previously been working part time as an assistant Network Administrator. After working at FSU for some time I decided that I wanted to learn more and decided to take classes at Keiser College (now Keiser University) in Tallahassee, Florida in order to get my Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) certification. The class took several months to complete and by the time I finished taking all the classes and passed the first test for the program I had already been promoted to the Systems Administrator at Learning Systems Institute which was my main objective; Therefore, I didn’t take any more tests and ended up with my Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) certificate. In retrospect I should have continued taking the tests in order to receive the full MCSE certification.
